CD206 (MSR, Mannose receptor, MRC1)는 175 kDa의 막관통 단백질로, 패턴 인식 수용체 계열에 속합니다. 주로 조직 대식세포, 수지상세포, 일부 내피세포 및 정자에서 발현됩니다. 선천 및 적응 면역 반응에서 중요한 역할을 하며, 변형된 지질단백질, AGE 생성물, 아밀로이드 β-단백질 등의 인식 및 흡수에 관여합니다.
CD206은 세포 부착 및 숙주 방어 메커니즘에 관련되며, 동맥경화증 및 알츠하이머병의 아밀로이드 β 침착에도 연관되어 있습니다.
CD206 유전자는 대식세포 스캐빈저 수용체 클래스 A를 암호화하며, 대체 스플라이싱을 통해 세 가지 형태(1, 2, 3)를 생성합니다. Type 1과 2는 변형 LDL의 엔도사이토시스를 매개하지만, Type 3은 내부화되지 않고 소포체 내에 머물러 기능적 억제 효과를 나타냅니다.
