Target Information

This gene encodes a member of the SWI/SNF family, which possesses helicase and ATPase activities involved in transcriptional regulation by altering chromatin structure. The encoded protein contains a RING finger DNA-binding motif. Two transcript variants encoding the same protein have been identified, and an alternative translation start site produces an N-terminally truncated isoform.
