Target Information

Ferritin의 주요 기능은 철을 용해성이고 무독성 상태로 저장하는 것입니다. Light chain ferritin 유전자 결함은 여러 신경퇴행성 질환 및 고페리틴혈증-백내장 증후군과 관련이 있습니다. Ferritin은 약 450 kDa의 분자량을 가지며, 최대 4,500개의 ferric iron 원자를 저장할 수 있습니다.
