Target Information
Visfatin은 pre-B cell colony-enhancing factor로도 알려진 지방세포 유래 사이토카인(adipocytokine)으로, 내장 지방 조직에서 풍부하게 분비됩니다.
인슐린 수용체에 결합하여 간세포의 포도당 방출을 감소시키고, 지방세포 및 근육세포에서 포도당 이용을 촉진하는 등 인슐린 유사 작용을 나타냅니다.
또한 세포 증식 촉진, 니코틴아미드 모노/디뉴클레오타이드 생합성, 포도당 항상성 유지에 관여합니다.
