Product Specific Information
This product contains a purified 674 amino acid fragment (aa25–698) corresponding to the mature extracellular VCAM protein with an N-terminal hexahistidine tag.
It may be used as a positive control in various immunological assays.
Target Information
VCAM-1 is a cell surface sialoglycoprotein expressed by cytokine-activated endothelium. It regulates leukocyte migration, leukocyte-endothelial cell adhesion, and signal transduction, and may play a role in several inflammatory diseases.
