Target Information
Synapse-Associated Protein 102 (SAP102)는 시냅스 접합부에 존재하는 막 관련 단백질군의 하나로, 세 개의 PDZ 도메인, SH3 도메인, 그리고 Guanylate Kinase (GuK) 유사 도메인을 포함합니다.
PDZ 도메인은 수용체 및 채널의 클러스터링에 관여하여 신경 가소성에 기여하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다. SAP102는 NMDA 수용체 및 Shaker형 칼륨 채널의 시냅스 막 클러스터링에 관여하며, 이들 단백질은 C-말단의 T/SXV 모티프를 공유합니다.
또한, β1 아드레날린 수용체, 일부 세로토닌 수용체, 나트륨 채널 및 칼륨 채널 소단위체 등도 PDZ 도메인을 통해 SAP102와 상호작용할 수 있습니다. nNOS는 자체 PDZ 도메인을 통해 SAP102와 in vitro에서 상호작용하는 것으로 보고되었습니다.
