Product Specific Information

The monoclonal antibody m2a-15F8 recognizes Mouse IgG2a antibodies and can be used as a secondary reagent in flow cytometry and microscopy.
It does not recognize other mouse isotypes nor cross-react with rat IgG2a or other rat isotypes.

Target Information

Anti-Mouse secondary antibodies are affinity-purified reagents with high specificity for mouse immunoglobulins.
They are useful for detection, sorting, or purification of mouse antibodies and allow flexibility across detection systems (HRP, AP, fluorescence).
Secondary antibodies also enhance sensitivity via signal amplification, as multiple secondaries can bind to one primary antibody.
Typically, hosts are immunized with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species, followed by purification and optional modifications such as antibody fragmentation or label conjugation.
