Target Information
CD20은 비당화 표면 인산화 단백질로, 인산화 정도에 따라 33–37 kDa의 분자량을 가집니다. 성숙 및 대부분의 악성 B세포, 일부 T림프구 및 여포 수지상세포에서 발현됩니다.
CD20은 표면 IgM 발현과 동시적으로 나타나며, 세포막 칼슘 이동, 세포 주기 진행 및 B세포 증식을 조절합니다. 또한 지질 뗏목(lipid raft)과 연관되어 있으며, 이는 외부 자극 및 BCR 집합에 따라 달라집니다.
CD20은 단일클론항체 치료 후에도 세포막에서 내부화되거나 탈락되지 않아, B세포 제거 치료의 유용한 표적으로 활용됩니다.
CD20 기능 이상은 Ms4a1 관련 공통 가변 면역결핍증(Common Variable Immune Deficiency)과 연관되어 있습니다.
