Target Information
ERCC1/XPF 엔도뉴클레아제 복합체는 DNA 손상 복구의 두 가지 주요 메커니즘에 관여합니다.
- NER (Nucleotide Excision Repair): 자외선 유도 손상 및 bulky chemical adducts 복구
- Recombination Repair: 매우 독성인 interstrand cross-links 복구
NER 과정에서 XPG는 손상 부위의 3' 절단을, ERCC1/XPF 복합체는 5' 절단을 수행합니다.
ERCC1/XPF는 부분적으로 처리된 재조합 중간체의 추가 처리에도 관여할 가능성이 있습니다.
