Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The MAGEB1 gene belongs to the MAGEB gene family, whose members have coding sequences located in the last exon and share 50–68% sequence identity. Variations in promoters and first exons suggest differential transcriptional control.
This gene is localized in the DSS (dosage-sensitive sex reversal) region, expressed in testis and various tumor types, and clustered with other MAGEB members on chromosome Xp22-p21. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants exist, though not all are fully defined.
