Product Specific Information
Reconstitute in 50 µL of distilled water (2 mg/mL final concentration), then dilute further for applications in PBS or media identical to that used in the assay system.
Target Information
Osteocalcin belongs to the osteocalcin/matrix Gla-protein family and constitutes 1–2% of the total bone protein. It binds strongly to apatite and calcium. Gamma-carboxyglutamate residues are formed by vitamin K–dependent carboxylation, which are essential for calcium binding.
