Target Information
XRCC6 (Ku70) forms a nuclear complex with Ku80, functioning as a single-stranded DNA-dependent ATP-dependent helicase. This complex plays a critical role in nonhomologous DNA end joining, double-strand break repair, transposition, and V(D)J recombination. Elevated autoantibody levels to p70 and p80 subunits have been observed in certain systemic lupus erythematosus patients.
