AGR2 (anterior gradient protein 2)와 AGR3는 anterior gradient homolog family에 속하며, 분비성 세포질 단백질로서 전이 유도 및 p53 종양 억제 인자 억제에 관여합니다. 이들은 호르몬 반응성 유방 종양의 분자 마커 및 잠재적 치료 표적이 될 수 있습니다. AGR2는 전반적으로 발현되며, 전립선암, 유방암, 폐암, 신장암, 자궁내막암 등에서 발현이 증가합니다. 또한 AGR2 발현은 에스트로겐 수용체(ER) 발현과 양의 상관관계를, 표피 성장 인자 수용체(EGFR) 발현과 음의 상관관계를 보입니다.
