Target Information
Osteopontin은 RGD(Arg-Gly-Asp) 서열을 포함하는 당단백질로, integrins 및 CD44 수용체와 상호작용합니다.
이 단백질은 뼈의 무기질화, 세포 부착 및 이동, 만성 염증 질환 및 세포 변형에 관여합니다.
Thrombin 및 matrix metalloproteinases에 의한 절단은 integrin 결합 특성을 조절합니다.
Thrombin에 의해 절단된 Osteopontin 단편은 악성 교종에서 과발현되어 생존 이점을 제공하며, plasmin 및 cathepsin D의 새로운 기질로 작용합니다.
