Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The PDE4B gene encodes a member of the type IV, cyclic AMP (cAMP)-specific, cyclic nucleotide phosphodiesterase family.
Cyclic nucleotides act as second messengers regulating cellular responses to extracellular stimuli such as hormones, light, and neurotransmitters.
PDEs control intracellular cAMP levels and play a central role in signal transduction.
Altered PDE4B activity has been linked to schizophrenia and bipolar affective disorder.
Multiple splice variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
