For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

The MAGEB1 gene belongs to the MAGEB gene family. Members of this family share 50–68% sequence identity and have coding sequences located entirely within the last exon. Variability in promoters and first exons suggests differential transcriptional control.
MAGEB1 is localized in the DSS (dosage-sensitive sex reversal) critical region and is expressed in testis and in a significant fraction of tumors of various histological types.
This gene and other MAGEB members are clustered on chromosome Xp22–p21. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding the same protein have been identified, though the full-length nature of some variants remains undefined.
