Product Specific Information

For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, an additional desalting step is recommended (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 18 (TNFRSF18), also known as GITR or AITR, is encoded by the TNFRSF18 gene located at 1p36.33.
This receptor, part of the TNF-receptor superfamily, shows increased expression upon T-cell activation and plays a key role in immunological self-tolerance maintained by CD25⁺CD4⁺ regulatory T cells.
Mouse knockout studies suggest its involvement in CD3-driven T-cell activation and programmed cell death.
Three alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been reported.
