Target Information
GAD65 (glutamic acid decarboxylase-65)는 인슐린 의존성 당뇨병(IDDM), stiff man syndrome, 다발성 내분비 자가면역 질환 등 자가면역 질환에서 발견됩니다.
자가항체는 신규 진단된 IDDM 환자의 60–70%에서 검출되며, 질병 활성도의 중요한 지표로 사용됩니다.
이 항체들은 GAD65의 입체 의존적 부위를 인식하며, GAD67에는 거의 결합하지 않습니다.
GAD67 자가항체는 IDDM 초기 환자의 약 15%에서 발견되며, 대부분 GAD65로 차단될 수 있어 두 이소형 간의 공통 에피토프 존재를 시사합니다.
