Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform additional desalting using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Fibronectin is a disulfide-bonded dimer (230–250 kDa) found in the extracellular matrix of connective tissues and vessels. It forms insoluble, cross-linked polymers and plays key roles in:
- Embryonic development and tissue remodeling
- Cell adhesion and migration
- Wound healing, blood coagulation, and host defense
- Tumor progression and metastasis
Fibronectin expression is elevated in non-small cell lung carcinoma, enhancing tumorigenicity and resistance to chemotherapy-induced apoptosis.
The FN1 gene undergoes alternative splicing, potentially generating up to 20 transcript variants.
