This product is preservative-free. It is recommended to add sodium azide to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%–0.1%).

Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits are cloned and screened to select optimal clones for production.

Target Information

Lutheran blood group glycoprotein (BCAM/CD239) is a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily and acts as a receptor for laminin.
It contains five N-terminal extracellular immunoglobulin domains, a single transmembrane domain, and a short C-terminal cytoplasmic tail.
This protein may be involved in epithelial cell cancer and vaso-occlusion in sickle cell disease. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
