Target Information
Angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 (ACE2)는 심혈관, 신장, 심근 생리에 중심적인 역할을 합니다.
ACE와 달리 ACE2의 발현은 심장, 신장, 고환에 제한되어 있으며, SARS coronavirus의 기능적 수용체로도 알려져 있습니다.
ACE2는 Angiotensin I을 Ang1-9로, AngII를 Ang1-7로 변환시키며, ACE2 결핍 마우스에서 심장 수축력 저하가 나타나 심장 기능 조절의 중요성을 보여줍니다.
