Target Information
Interleukin-17A (IL-17A, CTLA-8)는 CD4+ T 세포에서 유래한 사이토카인으로, 다양한 세포에서 염증 반응을 촉진합니다. 류머티즘 관절염, 천식, 다발성 경화증, 건선, 이식 거부 반응 등에서 IL-17A 수치가 상승합니다.
IL-17A는 32 kDa 크기의 이황화 결합된 호모다이머(136 아미노산)로 구성되며, IL-17A–17F로 이루어진 6종류의 단백질 패밀리에 속합니다. IL-17R(CDw217)을 통해 신호를 전달하며, 활성화된 CD4+ T세포에서 높은 수준으로 발현됩니다.
IL-17A는 인간 섬유아세포에서 ICAM-1 발현을 증가시키고, IL-6, IL-8, G-CSF, PGE2 분비를 유도합니다. 또한 CD34+ 조혈 전구세포의 증식과 호중구로의 분화를 유도합니다. 마우스, 랫, 인간 IL-17A 모두 마우스 수용체를 인식할 수 있으며, NF-κB 및 MAP kinase 활성을 조절하고, IL-6 및 COX-2 발현을 자극하며, NO 생성을 증가시킵니다.
