AGR2 (anterior gradient protein 2)와 AGR3는 anterior gradient homolog family에 속하는 단백질로, 세포질에서 분비되어 암 전이 유도 및 p53 종양 억제 단백질의 억제에 관여합니다. 이들은 호르몬 반응성 유방암의 분자 표지자 및 잠재적 치료 표적으로 연구되고 있습니다. AGR2는 다양한 암(전립선, 유방, 폐, 신장, 자궁내막암)에서 발현이 증가하며, 에스트로겐 수용체(ER) 발현과 양의 상관관계를, 상피세포 성장인자 수용체(EGFR) 발현과 음의 상관관계를 가집니다.
