Target Information
SNAP25 is a t-SNARE protein involved in the molecular regulation of neurotransmitter release.
It plays a role in synaptic function and associates with proteins responsible for vesicle docking and membrane fusion.
Additionally, SNAP25 regulates plasma membrane recycling via interaction with CENPF.
Mutations in the SNAP25 gene can result in myasthenic syndrome.
