Percent identity with other species by BLAST analysis: Human, Gorilla, Monkey (100%); Marmoset, Dog, Panda, Pig (94%); Bovine, Horse (89%); Elephant (83%).

For IHC(P), use heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen.

Target Information

May bind to a neuropeptide and may regulate nociceptor function and/or development, including the sensation or modulation of pain. Expressed in the Gut, vas deferens, uterus and aorta; barely detectable in liver, kidney, lung, and salivary gland. In the brain, markedly abundant in the cerebellum.
