Target Information
This gene encodes a polytransferase lacking an N-terminal DNA binding domain that activates the C-terminal catalytic domain. Basic residues in the N-terminal region may have DNA-binding properties and be involved in nuclear or nucleolar targeting. Two alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been identified.
