Target Information

Histone H3 is a DNA-binding protein found in the chromatin of all eukaryotic cells. Together with other core histones, it forms nucleosomes that organize DNA.

The N-terminal tail of Histone H3 can undergo post-translational modifications such as methylation, acetylation, and phosphorylation, which affect chromatin structure and transcription factor binding.
