A 1:1,000 dilution of MA5-45906 was sufficient for detection of Elongation of very long chain fatty acids protein 3 in 10 µg of Rat Brain by ECL immunoblot analysis using goat anti-mouse IgG:HRP as the secondary antibody. Detects 40 kDa.
Target Information
This gene encodes a protein that belongs to the GNS1/SUR4 family. Members of this family play a role in elongation of long chain fatty acids to provide precursors for synthesis of sphingolipids and ceramides.
