Product Specific Information
이 항체는 CD71 항원(Transferrin Receptor)의 세포 외 에피토프에 반응하며, 활성화된 B 및 T 림프구, 대식세포, 적혈전구 전구세포에서 발현되는 95 kDa 타입 II 호모이합체 막당단백질을 인식합니다.
휴지 상태의 혈액 백혈구에서는 발현되지 않으며, MEM-75 항체는 Transferrin이 수용체에 결합하는 것을 방해하지 않습니다.
Target Information
세포 내 철 흡수는 Transferrin Receptor에 결합된 Ligand의 수용체 매개 내포작용을 통해 이루어집니다. Endosome의 산성화는 철 방출을 유도하고, Apotransferrin-Receptor 복합체는 중성 pH로 복귀하면서 결합력이 감소하여 세포 표면으로 재순환됩니다.
Transferrin Receptor는 적혈구 및 신경계 발달에 필수적이며, 혈청 Transferrin Receptor(sTfR)는 EPO 남용 탐지 및 다양한 빈혈 진단 지표로 활용됩니다.
