Target Information

WD40 repeats are common structural modules in eukaryotic proteins. Proteins containing WD40 domains participate in various biological processes such as signal transduction, cell cycle regulation, RNA splicing, and transcription.
WDR92 (also known as monad) contains two WD40 repeats and is widely expressed in human tissues, particularly in the testis. Overexpression of WDR92 or its binding partner RPAP3 enhances apoptosis and caspase-3 activation induced by TNF-α and cycloheximide, suggesting that WDR92 and RPAP3 act as modulators of apoptosis.
