Target Information
Fibrinogen은 혈장 내 응고성 단백질로, 손상된 혈관에서 thrombin에 의해 절단되어 fibrin을 형성하며, 혈전의 주요 구성 성분이 됩니다. Fibrinogen은 FGA, FGB, FGG 세 쌍의 비동일 사슬로 이루어진 이합체 형태이며, N-말단 부위의 이황화 결합으로 교차 연결되어 있습니다. 분자는 두 개의 D 도메인과 하나의 E 도메인을 가지며, plasmin에 의해 분해될 때 이 도메인들이 분리됩니다. 이 유전자에서의 돌연변이는 dysfibrinogenemia, afibrinogenemia, renal amyloidosis 등의 질환을 유발할 수 있습니다.
