Target Information

Transthyretin (TTR), 일반적으로 prealbumin으로 불리며, 호르몬 thyroxine과 retinal-binding protein의 운반체 역할을 하는 혈장 단백질입니다. 주로 간에서 생성되어 혈장으로 분비되며, CSF 단백질의 약 25%를 차지합니다. 이는 TTR이 혈액-CSF 장벽을 통해 선택적으로 운반되거나 중추신경계 내에서 새롭게 합성된다는 가능성을 시사합니다. Transthyretin은 노화성 뇌 아밀로이드 병변의 neuritic plaques, neurofibrillary tangles, microangiopathic lesions에서 발견됩니다. TTR 유전자에서 40개 이상의 돌연변이가 보고되어 있으며, 이는 아밀로이드 침착과 관련이 있습니다.
