- Western blot에서 recombinant human CA1, CA4, CA6–14와 교차 반응이 관찰되지 않음.
- 사용 전 멸균 PBS에 0.5 mg/mL 농도로 재구성(reconstitute) 권장.
Target Information
Carbonic anhydrases (CAs)는 아연 금속 효소(zinc metalloenzyme) 계열로, 이산화탄소의 가역적 수화 반응을 촉매합니다.
CAs는 호흡, 석회화, 산-염기 균형, 골 흡수, 그리고 다양한 체액(안방수, 뇌척수액, 침, 위액 등)의 형성에 관여합니다.
Human CA5A 유전자는 간의 미토콘드리아 기질에서 발현되는 CA V 단백질을 암호화하며, 다른 조직에서도 검출됩니다.
CA5B는 미토콘드리아에 위치하며 CA VA와 높은 서열 유사성을 가지며, 간 외 다양한 조직에도 분포합니다.
CA V 단백질은 ureagenesis 과정에서 carbamoyl phosphate synthetase에 bicarbonate를 제공하는 역할을 할 수 있습니다.
