Product Specific Information

This antibody recognises mouse IL-10R, a cell surface glycoprotein receptor for anti-inflammatory IL-10.
The epitope recognised by this antibody has been localised to the ligand-binding domain within the extracellular region of mouse IL-10R.

Target Information

The protein encoded by this gene is a receptor for interleukin 10 and is structurally related to interferon receptors.
It mediates the immunosuppressive signal of IL-10, inhibiting synthesis of proinflammatory cytokines.
This receptor promotes survival of progenitor myeloid cells via the insulin receptor substrate-2/PI 3-kinase/AKT pathway.
Activation leads to tyrosine phosphorylation of JAK1 and TYK2 kinases.
Two transcript variants, one protein-coding and one non-coding, have been identified for this gene.
