Product Specific Information

This Goat anti-Human IgG Fab Superclonal™ Recombinant Secondary Antibody detects human IgG Fab with specificity to the light chains (kappa and lambda) and heavy chain CH1. It does not detect Fc and shows no cross-reactivity with immunoglobulins from other species.

Recombinant antibodies are produced using cloned genes encoding the desired antibody in an expression system, providing enhanced specificity, animal origin-free formulation, and lot-to-lot consistency.

Superclonal™ Recombinant antibodies are defined pools of recombinant monoclonal antibodies selected and combined to achieve complementary and optimal epitope coverage for improved performance.

Each lot’s sensitivity and specificity are validated by ELISA.
Careful titration is recommended for optimal assay performance.

Target Information

Anti-Human secondary antibodies are affinity-purified and specifically recognize human immunoglobulins. They are used for detection, sorting, or purification of human antibody targets. Secondary antibodies enhance assay versatility and sensitivity by enabling various detection systems (HRP, AP, fluorescence) and signal amplification.

Typically, they are produced by immunizing host animals with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species and further purified or modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, fragmentation, conjugation) to yield highly specific reagents.
