CD155 단백질은 면역글로불린 초가족에 속하는 막관통 당단백질입니다. 세포외 도메인은 vitronectin과의 세포 부착을 매개하며, 세포내 도메인은 dynein light chain Tctex-1/DYNLT1과 상호작용합니다. 이 유전자는 주로 영장류 계통에서 발현되며, 소아마비바이러스(poliovirus)의 세포 수용체로 작용합니다. 다양한 전사 변이체가 존재하며, 서로 다른 isoform을 암호화합니다.
