For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.

Target Information

Macrophage receptor that binds to apolipoprotein B48 (APOB) of dietary triglyceride-rich lipoproteins (TRL) or to a similar domain of APOB in hypertriglyceridemic very low density lipoprotein (HTG-VLDL).
It binds and internalizes TRL outside the macrophage context, possibly supplying essential lipids to reticuloendothelial cells.
May contribute to foam cell formation under elevated TRL and remnant lipoprotein (RLP) conditions.
Mediates rapid, high-affinity uptake of chylomicrons (CM), HTG-VLDL, and trypsinized VLDL devoid of APOE in vitro in macrophages.
