Target Information
Anti-sperm antibodies are associated with unexplained infertility and may block fertilization. SPAG6 is a sperm-associated antigen localized to the tail of human sperm, containing eight armadillo repeats that mediate protein–protein interactions. Studies in mice indicate roles in sperm flagellar motility and structural integrity. Alternatively spliced variants exist, with two full-length isoforms identified.
