Product Specific Information
MA1-91114 detects and recognizes canine parvovirus (CPV) and feline panleucopenia virus (FPV).
This antibody has also been reported to detect mink parvovirus (data unpublished).
- Does not require protein digestion pre-treatment of paraffin sections (e.g., trypsin or pronase) prior to staining.
- Does not require antigen retrieval using heat treatment prior to staining of paraffin sections.
- Not tested in Western blotting.
Target Information
Canine parvovirus (CPV) is reported to be a host range variant of feline panleucopenia virus (FPV), which emerged as a result of mutations of the viral capsid.
