Target Information

The betaIII-tubulin isoform is predominantly expressed in cells of neuronal origin and serves as one of the earliest markers of neuronal differentiation. It is considered a specific probe for neuronal cells and tumors derived from them. BetaIII-tubulin is most abundant in neuronal cells but has also been detected in Sertoli cells of the testis and transiently in non-neuronal embryonic tissues.
