Target Information
Beta III-tubulin (TUBB3) isoform is dominantly expressed in cells of neuronal origin and serves as one of the earliest markers of neuronal differentiation. It is a specific probe for neuronal cells and tumors derived from these cells. Although most abundant in neuronal tissues, it can also be detected in Sertoli cells of the testis and transiently in non-neuronal embryonic tissues.
