SPHK1 (Sphingosine kinase 1)는 SPHK2와 함께 sphingosine을 인산화하여 sphingosine-1-phosphate (S1P)를 생성합니다.
S1P는 G-단백질 결합 수용체를 통해 다양한 세포 기능을 조절하는 신호 분자로 작용합니다.
SPHK 억제제는 암 치료를 위한 잠재적 치료제로 연구되고 있습니다.
세포 내에서 S1P는 ceramide 및 sphingosine과 같은 다른 sphingolipid 대사산물처럼 신호 전달에 관여하며, 세포 분화, 칼슘 동원, 세포자멸사 조절에 영향을 미칩니다.
S1P 수용체는 EDG 계열의 G 단백질 결합 수용체(S1P Receptors)입니다.
