Target Information

EPHB3 is a receptor tyrosine kinase belonging to the ephrin receptor family. Eph family kinases are involved in various biological processes including:

  • Nervous system development
  • Angiogenesis
  • Neural synapse formation and maturation

Ephrin ligands and Eph receptors show reciprocal expression in vivo. Both developing and adult neural tissue express nearly all Eph receptors and ephrin ligands, playing a significant role in angiogenesis.
