Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
CTXL, also known as VSIG2, is a member of the immunoglobulin (Ig) superfamily with characteristics of both antigen-specific receptors and adhesion molecules. It is a single-pass, type I membrane protein containing a signal peptide, an extracellular V-type Ig-like domain, a C2-type Ig-like domain, and a cytoplasmic tail.
CTXL is highly expressed in the stomach, colon, prostate, trachea, and thyroid gland, with lower expression in bladder and lung tissues, and is not expressed in the thymus. It may be involved in thymocyte selection and cell-cell adhesion processes at junctional complexes between endothelial and epithelial cells.
