Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene contains RNA recognition motifs found in various RNA-binding proteins, including hnRNP proteins and snRNP components. It is implicated in the regulation of alternative splicing and binds preferentially to G and U polyribonucleotides. The RBM10 gene is located on chromosome Xp11.23, near the UBE1 gene, and has two transcript variants encoding different isoforms.
