APPL1 단백질은 세포 증식 조절 및 아디포넥틴 신호와 인슐린 신호 간의 상호작용에 관여합니다. RAB5A, DCC, AKT2, PIK3CA, 아디포넥틴 수용체, NuRD/MeCP1 복합체 단백질 등 다양한 단백질과 결합합니다. 주로 엔도솜 막에 존재하지만 EGF 자극 시 핵으로 이동할 수 있습니다.
