Target Information
Glomerular epithelial protein 1 (GLEPP1), also known as protein tyrosine phosphatase U2 (PTPase U2) or receptor-type tyrosine-protein phosphatase O (PTPRO), is a Type I membrane protein belonging to the protein-tyrosine phosphatase family.
It contains eight fibronectin type-III domains and one tyrosine-protein phosphatase domain. GLEPP1 is primarily expressed in kidney glomeruli and also detected in placenta, lung, and brain.
