Product Specific Information

The eBio1D3 monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse CD19, a 95 kDa transmembrane glycoprotein expressed on B cells throughout development except plasma cells. CD19 forms a multimolecular complex with CD21, CD81, and MHC class II, associating with the BCR to regulate signaling and proliferation of B cells.

Target Information

CD19 is a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily with two Ig-like domains, expressed on all peripheral B cells. It plays a key role in B cell receptor signaling and regulation of proliferation. CD19 expression is observed in B cell precursor leukemias and some myeloid leukemia cells. Mutations cause hypogammaglobulinemia; overexpression leads to B cell hyperactivity.
