For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Beta-catenin is a key adherens junction (AJ) protein involved in cell-cell adhesion and epithelial layer maintenance. It interacts with E-cadherin and alpha-catenin to anchor the E-cadherin complex to the actin cytoskeleton.
It also associates with signaling pathways including tyrosine kinases, phosphatases, and Wnt/Wingless, influencing morphogenesis and cell proliferation.
Beta-catenin expression is observed in hair follicle cells and epithelial tissues, with pathological roles noted in cancers such as colorectal, ovarian, and medulloblastoma.
In the nucleus, beta-catenin co-activates Lef/Tcf transcription factors to promote genes like cyclin D and c-myc, contributing to tumorigenesis in various solid tumors.
