Target Information
STAG2는 cohesin complex의 구성 요소로, DNA 복제 후 자매 염색분체의 결합을 유지하는 데 필요합니다. Cohesin complex는 염색분체를 포획할 수 있는 큰 단백질 고리를 형성하며, 세포분열 중 anaphase에서 절단되어 염색분체가 분리되도록 합니다. 또한, STAG2는 유사분열 동안 방추극체 조립에도 관여할 수 있습니다.
